"Too  Close?"

Yeah probably; I mean this is being written only a few minutes before the entered Game Jam's deadline.

Too Close is a small top-down shooter styled game,  your goal is to get the highscore, just like any other arcade game out there. Simple, right?

So, how about we raise the difficulty?

No shooting... So it's not really a shooter anymore, unless you consider the enemies shooting at you.

But, it's still simple really. Just survive and don't touch the red... 

and even the walls...

Maybe you can fool the terribly made AI? Who knows?

By the end you will probably be thinking that was "Too Close! I almost got hit!"

...or after playing it you could be thinking "Too Close! I almost didn't get this game"...


----Update version 2.0.0 Changelog----

Major Changes

  • Added release format WebGL, to make it a lot easier to access
  • Camera nature changed drastically
  • Post-processing effects added to improve game visuals

Minor Changes

  • Enemy shooters now have a lowered chance of destroying themselves with their own bullet
  • Enemy spawnpoints have been slightly changed such that spawn locations are a lot more varied
  • Various smaller bugs have been fixed

Known Bugs/Issues

  • Shooters can still shoot themselves with their own bullet given certain conditions
  • Camera is fidgety at many times
  • Camera Smoothing is slightly broken 
  • Number counter overflows from use of dash after a few dashes due to a dash ("-")
  • Just don't click exit on browser, just don't, I mean why would you do it, what do you gain from that?
